Before leaving, I stop at a bakery stall. The baker offers a warm loaf of bread. I buy a slice and taste it. It tastes like fresh butter and a hint of cinnamon.
On the way home, I think about the friendly people I met. I plan to come back next week and try the new fruit stand that opened. The market feels like a small community gathering.
